There are times when certain manufacturer model furnaces or
air conditioners require an OEM Part. There are a few reasons why this may be
the case.

There are not any universal parts that fit or function exactly like the OEM part.

1. ) The Furnace or Air Conditioner are still under warranty and the manufacturer
   states that only OEM parts are to be used or the warranty may not be
   honored.
2. ) Universal parts are not available for a particular model due to size, positioning, etc.
3. The homeowner simply prefers OEM parts for the unit.
